OBITUARY:
Donald Eugene Shultz, December 17, 1930-July 8, 2006
Salem – The son of Harry and Sarah Shultz of Corvallis, Oregon, Don was born in Fairfield, Nebraska. In 1936 the family settled in Corvallis, where he graduated from Corvallis High School and joined the Navy in 1948. He retired from active military service as a Chief Petty Officer Electrician in 1967. Zena church held a special place in Don’s heart as it was the first place he preached as a student at Multnomah School of the Bible, graduating with a Bachelor Degree in 1972. He loved trucks and drove for various companies on the West Coast and eventually started his own trucking firm and retiring in 1992. He is survived by his wife, Carol Eunice Lebold, of 56 years; sister and husband, Lois and Doyle Dick of Ontario, Ore; and family members, Charles and Diane Shultz of Anchorage, Alaska, Carolyn Wagner of Salem, Sarah and Loren Link of Oakland, Ore, Garry and Dawn Shultz of Tianjin, China; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Services are 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 15 at Zena Church, Lincoln, Ore.
