1930 OH CENSUS – Mahlon Schlabach (15y, b Ohio) enumerated with parents Ervin J. (26y, b Indiana, married at age 23y, occupation farmer) and Emma J. (34y, b Michigan, married at age 31y) and 6 siblings, all born in Ohio, Andy (14y), Clara (13y), John (8y), Elizabeth (5y), Jakie (2y8m) and Jamina (1y6m) 

Services for Mahlon Schlabach, 64, of 5435 Wallace Road NW, who died at home Thursday after an extended illness, will be at 2 pm Sunday in Western Mennonite Church, 9042 Wallace Road NW, and interment in Zena Cemetery. He was born in Sugarcreek, Ohio, and came to Oregon in 1942. A dairy farmer, he was a resident of the Salem area since 1949 and a member of Western Mennonite Church. Survivors include wife, Mary C.; daughters, Irene Schlabach, Corvallis, and Esther Field, Prairie City; sisters, Elizabeth Coblentz, Jemima Troyer and Emma Yoder, brothers, Jack, Ervin and Roman, all of Pennsylvania; one grandson.
