NOTE – Samuel returned to Wisconsin after Rachel’s death. In 1910 census he was living with the family of his daughter Mary Graham in Eau Claire, Eau Claire co, Wisconsin  

OBITUARY: 

Mrs. Lobeck, of Michigan City, died this morning at 7 o’clock, of pneumonia, aged 77 years. The funeral will be held from the family residence tomorrow afternon [sic] at 1 o’clock, and the remains will be interred at Zena.
