OBITUARY: 

Mrs Minnie Hunt, a Salem area resident most of her life after coming here as a small child, died Friday in a Salem nursing home at the age of 90. Born in Michigan, she lived at Zena, west of Salem, and came to Salem about 10 years ago to live with a daughter at 2534 Rogers Lane NW. She had spent a few years homesteading in the Fort Rock area near Bend. She was a member of Zena Missionary Society. Surviving are daughters Helen McClure and Frances Burns and son Kenneth R., all of Salem; sisters Esther Propst, Woodburn, Rose Stoutenburg, Dayton, and Lillie Nelson, Salem; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services are pending at Barrick mortuary.
