OBITUARY:

PROMINENT WOMAN DIES.
Wife of Benjamin Windsor, Early Oregon Pioneer, Passes Away Yesterday at Lincoln.
Mrs. Benjamin Windsor, died yesterday at her farm home at Lincoln after a lingering illness. Mrs. Windsor was one of the respected pioneer women of Oregon, who with her husband came to Oregon in an early day, and who by thrift and industry, together with the sterling qualities developed by the hardships of life then, aided her husband in amassing a comfortable fortune.
She was a member of the Methodist church and a consistent Christian. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Windsor, and three children as follows: Mrs. John Childers, Spring Valley; Mrs. Joe Hockett, of Salem, Route 1, and a son, Frand (sic) Windsor, another son, William, having preceded her to the grave last fall.
No arrangements have been made for the funeral, but it is probable that it will occur Sunday, interment being made at the Zena cemetery.
