OBITUARY: 

Nell M. Willems, Jan 24, 1896-Oct 26, 1992

Nell M. Willems, 96, died Monday in Salem. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and moved to Salem in 1963. She married the Rev Abraham Willems in 1950; he died in 1983. She and her husband helped set up the first infirmary at Capital Manor. She also assisted her husband in his ministerial duties. She was a member of Rivera Baptist Church and active in Child Evangelism Fellowship. She is survived by her stepchildren, Fyrne Rudorf of California, Phyllis Pierce of Olympia, Wash, Dean Clipper of San Jose, Calif, and Frank Willems of California. Graveside services will begin at 1 pm Friday in Zena Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 2 pm at 1955 Dallas Highway NW, Salem. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden mortuary. Contributions may be made to the Capital District Child Evangelism Fellowship, 1966 McCoy Ave NE, Salem 97303.
