OBITUARY: 

Amity – Hattie White, 89, an Amity resident for 22 years, died Tuesday in a McMinnville nursing home. She was born in Minnesota and moved to Salem with her parents when she was 5. Following her marriage there in 1899 to Henry White, she lived in Rickreall. They spent 25 years in Tillamook and then a short time in Battleground, Wash. After his death in 1939, she moved to McMinnville and came here eight years later. Survivors include sister Mrs Beryl Perlich, Eugene. Services will be 2 pm Friday in Macy & Son mortuary, McMinnville. Interment will be in Zena Cemetery.
