William was the son of Edward & Sarah Waters who are buried in Dallas Cemetery, and a brother of John Waters who is buried in Dallas Cemetery and Francis M. Waters who is buried in English Cemetery. This family appears in 1860 census of Klickitat Co, Washington. William & Mary also appear in the 1880 census of Polk Co, Oregon. They later moved to Wheeler Co, Oregon where they appear in the 1900 census. William and Mary are buried in the IOOF Cemetery at Fossil, Wheeler Co, Oregon.
