OBITUARY: 

SALEM - Lue Troxell, 82, passed away Monday, August 27, 2007 at home, attended by her family. Born in Benkelman, Nebraska, Lue was the third child of Lena and Levi Miller. She came to Oregon in 1943, where she met Jack Troxell, whom she married on March 14, 1944. She is survived by her husband; daughters, Sheiry Beard (Duane) of Salem and Leah Fish (Ernie) of Keizer; sons, Jeff (Teresa) of Salem and Lyndell (Brenda) of Silverton; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Visitation and viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 30 at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen. Private interment will follow. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 1 at Bethany Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the nursery or children's programs at Bethany Baptist Church.
