Dahlen [Washington Marriage Records, Ancestry.com]. He died 5 Nov 1980 in Clackamas co, Oregon [ODI] and was buried in Mountain View cemetery at Oregon City

OBITUARY: 

Salem (Special) – Mrs. Byron J. Purvine, a lifelong resident of the Salem area, died Thursday at her home, Rt. 1, Box 697, in the Zena community of Salem.
Mrs. Purvine was born Dec. 25, 1913, in Aurora, and was a member of the American Business Womens’ Association and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Byron J.; one son, Laurence, both of Zena; and her mother, Mrs. Nellie Moore, Aurora.
Graveside service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Zena Cemetery.
The family requests that remembrances be contributions to the University of Oregon Medical School, in care of cancer research.

Mrs LeNore Purvine, 54, Salem Rt 1 Box 697 near Zena west of Salem, died Thursday at her home. She had been ill with cancer the past 4½ years. She was a life-long resident of the Salem area and a member of the American Business Women’s Assn and VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are widower Byron and son Laurence, both of Salem; and mother Mrs Nellie Moore, Aurora. Arrangements are pending at Virgil T. Golden mortuary.  [bur Zena]
