OSBH DC (Marion County 1960) #11786 - Marguerite Ott, female, housewife, widowed, b. 10 Sept 1878 in Basel, Switzerland, d. 26 Sep 1960 in Salem, Oregon (376 Luther St.) at the age of 82 years, name of father Albin Meier, maiden name of mother Babrara Zubel, interment Zena; informant C.W.H. Sauerwein, friend.

OBITUARY: 

Mrs Marguerite Ott, 82, resident of Salem for the past 14 years, died Monday in a Salem nursing home. Mrs Ott, a native of Switzerland, was the widow of the late Rev Frederick F. Ott, former pastor of the Bethany Bible Church in Salem. He died in 1952. Mrs Ott was a member and formerly active in that church. Surviving is a son, Fred C. Ott, with the Overseas Education Department in Germany. Funeral arrangements are in care of Howell-Edwards Mortuary.

Services for Mrs Marguerite Ott, 81, Salem resident for the last 14 years, who died Monday at a local nursing home are pending at the Howell-Edwards Mortuary. Fred C. Ott, a son who is with the Overseas Education Dept in Germany is returning to Salem to attend the funeral. Mrs Ott was the widow of the late Rev Frederick F. Ott, former pastor of Bethany Bible Church. She was born in Switzerland.
