OBITUARY: 

McGrew. At his home in Perrydale, at 1 o’clock pm, Saturday, Aug 16, 1890, Mr McGrew, postmaster of Perrydale. Consumption was the direct cause of his death and he had been a sufferer for many months.

Zena Items. John W. McGrew, of Perrydale, was laid to rest until Resurrection morn in the cemetery at this place last Sunday. The last sad rites were performed by the Masons from Amity and Dallas.
