OBITUARY: JEFFRIES - At the family home on Church street, Salem, at 8 p.m. Jan. 1, 1900, Beatirice [sic] Jeffries, aged 19 years.
Deceased was a daughter of Dr. W. A. Jeffries. She was born near Eola, in Polk county, and has resided in Salem about 15 years. She graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in 195, and was a valued member of the First Presbyterian church.
The funeral cortege will leave Salem, Wednesday morning, and proceed to Zena, where funeral services will be conducted at the church at 12 o'clock and interment will take place in the Zena cemetery.
