Katherine Ann Hammond, 88, Salem Rt 1, Box 657, died Monday in a local hospital. A native of Canada, she came here in 1943 from Montana. Surviving are sons George H. and Walter, both Salem; daughter Betty Hammond, Fairfax, calif; sister, Alice Updegraff, Salem. Services are pending at Barrick Mortuary.
