OBITUARY: 

PORTLAND- Francis L. DeHarrport, 82, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday in Willamette Methodist Convalescent Care Center, Portland.
A native of Salem, he had lived here for 37 years. He was a real estate broker, real property manager and insurance agent, retiring in 1985.
He was married to Grace Henderson DeHarpport for 59 years. He was a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club, Marion County Historical Society, and the First United Methodist Church, Portland.
Survivors include his wife; daughter Marie D. Lindsey of Black Butte; son, Dale C., of Beaverton; sister Luella Teed of Salem, five grandchildren; and two great-granchildren.
Service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the church. Arrangements [can't read...] Wilhelm mortuary, Portland.
Contributions may be made to Willamette View, Inc. Foundation.

A memorial service for Francis L. ''Fritz'' DeHarpport will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in downtown Portland. Disposition was by cremation.
Mr. DeHarpport died Sunday in a Portland care center of complications from diabetes at the age of 82.
He was born on Jan. 28, 1908, in Salem and lived in Portland for 31 years before returning to Salem in 1973. He moved back to Portland in 1985. He followed a family tradition of attending Willamette University in Salem, attending for three years ending in 1931. He was a real estate broker, real property manager and insurance agent who retired in 1985.
He also was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Multnomah Athletic Club and Marion County Historical Society.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Grace Henderson of Milwaukie; daughter, Marie Lindsay of Black Butte Ranch; son, Dale C. of Beaverton; sister, Luella Teed of Salem; five grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Willamette View Inc. Foundation in Portland.
