Salem – Hal passed away after a long illness. He was born in Greeley, Colorado, but had lived in Salem for a long time. He served in the armed forces for 3 years, which included the Korean War. He worked for Copenhagen Inc, and loved the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Donna Curtis; mother, Grace Curtis; sons, Kevin Curtis and Jerry Norton; 6 grandchilren, Steven and Ryan Manship, and Cory, Niki, Jasmine and Marti Norton; niece, Jan Pfennig; and nephew, Brad Paynter. Services are pending.
