OBITUARY: 

S. Donnel Crawford
ZENA- S. Donnel Crawford, 80 Torrance, Calif., former resident of this community northwest of Salem, died Monday at Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Crawford was born in McMinnville and came here as a youngster. He farmed in this area for many years prior to moving to California several years ago.
Survivors include daughter Mrs. Gladys Sterns, Palos Verdes, Calif.; three grandchildren. His wife, Gladys, died Feb. 8.
Memorial services will be held at the Zena Church 10 a.m. Friday for Crawford and his wife. W. T. Rigdon mortuary is in charge.

NOTE - daughter Gladys was actually his niece, daughter of his brother Wilford Harvey Crawford, whom he had raised after the death of her parents
