NOTE - 2nd wife Elvira or Eliza was the widow of James Newton Poindexter who died 20 March 1903 at Prineville, Crook Co, Oregon. She appears in the 1920 census of Eugene, Lane Co, Oregon, living with her son Frank Poindexter. She died 10 March 1923 in Crook Co, Oregon [OSBH DC 1923 Crook co #14] and was buried with her first husband in the Juniper Haven cemetery at Prineville

Clark (b. Virginia), maiden name of mother Elizabeth Bell (b. Tennessee), interment Zena; informant Elvira Clark of Rt 1, Salem, Oregon.


P. F. Clark, Veteran of Civil War, Passes Away
Peter Frank Clark, veteran of the Civil War, aged 90 years, 4 months, and 22 days, died at his home in Zena Thursday, June 19, at 7 a.m. He leaves a wife, one son and two daughters, one of the daughters makes her home at Zena. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Zena church with the Rev. McKinley conducting them. Burial will be in the cemetery at Zena with the Webb & Clough company in charge.
