Corvallis – Sadie Carlson, 77, 660 SE Mill St, died Wednesday in a Corvallis hospital. Born in Onaway, Mich, she lived in Alberta, Canada, Washington and Creswell before moving to Corvallis in 1969. She was a member of Corvallis Senior Citizens. Survivors include widower Carl; daughters Lilian H. Flint, Myrtle Albin, Corvallis, Evelyn H. Whisenhunt and Fay Thompson; sons Arthur and Lee Kennedy; five brothers including Allen Wilton, Salem; stepsons Jake, August, Ray, Jim and Donald Carlson and step-daughters Eva Callaghan and Meleta Martin; 38 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 2 pm Saturday at Demoss-Durdan mortuary, interment in Zena Cemetery, Salem.
