OBITUARY:
Samuel H. Barker, at the resident (sic), route 1, Salem. Monday, May 3, at the age of 79 years. Survived by a son, Roy E. Barker of Salem, a brother, Ulysis Barker of Roseburg; a grandson Samuel J. Barker of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, at 1:30 pm. At Clough-Barrick chapel with the Rev. Chester Hamblin officiating. Interment in Zena cemetery.
