OBITUARY: Leslie Gayle Beard, May 23, 1961-Dec 21, 1992 Pedee – Leslie Gayle Beard, 31, died Monday. She was born in San Jose, Calif, and raised in California. She moved to Pedee when she was 16. She married James Beard in Dallas; they later divorced. She had been the head fabric cutter for Pedee Jeans Co in Dallas. Survivors include her sons, Clayton and Christopher, both of Pedee; daughter, Lisa of Pedee; father, Bill Beard of Watsonville, Calif; mother and stepfather, Elaine and Douglas Haga of Pedee; brothers, Bill Henson Jr of Watsonville and Steven Henson, serving in the Navy; and sister, Sherry Hudspath of Moss Landing, Calif. Services will begin at 2 pm today in Bollman mortuary, Dallas. Private interment will be in Womer Cemetery. Statesman Journal, Wednesday, December 23, 1992
