OBITUARY: 

Dale Bahler, Oct 10, 1910-April 5, 1994

Dale D. Bahler of Monmouth died April 5 at his son’s Dallas home. He was 83. A lifetime Oregon resident, he was born in Haysville. He married Viola M. Taylor in North Bend. She died in 1987. He lived in Nashville and Kings Valley before moving to Pedee in 1979. He worked for Moiser Lumber Company and Ostrom Lumber Company, both in Pedee, before his 1975 retirement. Survivors include his sons, Forrest D. Bahler of Dallas and Raymond L. Bahler of Corvallis; daughter, Sharon M. Bahler of Logsden; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. No services will be held in keeping with his request. A memorial gathering of friends and family was held April 8 in Womer Cemetery in Pedee, where interment followed. Farnstrom Mortuary handled the arrangements.
