OBITUARY: 

Edwin Beverly Freer, 81, Dallas, died in a Dallas nursing home March 23. He was born Aug 21, 1886 in Dolph, Ore, the son of Nehemiah and Malinda Castile Freer. He married Dena Hoppe July 3, 1912 in Dallas. Freer lived in Pedee for 26 years, prior to moving to Yachats in 1956 where he lived until moving to Dallas in October 1964. He was a retired farmer and engineer. Survivors besides his widow, Dena H. Freer, Dallas, include daughters, Mrs Vesta Olson, St Helens, Mrs Dorothea Barnard, Dallas, and Mrs Verda Murphy, Snowflake, Ariz; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, mar 27 at 2 pm in the Bollman Funeral Home with Rev Dan Phay officiating. Interment was in the Womer cemetery at Pedee.
