Frank Leroy Wellman, 25, Dallas, was killed in an auto accident near Burns, Friday, Oct 6. He was born Sept 11, 1942 in Dallas, the son of Jacob and Irene Tice Wellman. He lived most of his life in the Dallas area being employed in the plywood industry. Survivors include his father Jacob W. Wellman, Dallas; his mother, Irene Berlin, Salem; five sisters, Lelia Hutton, Salem, Pansy Moore, Florence Friesen and Ann Brown, all of Dallas, and Linda Runion of Tillamook; a brother, Ralph O. Wellman, Dallas; and a half brother, Michael Gunther of the US Army stationed in New Jersey. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct 10, at 2 pm in the Bollman Funeral Home with Rev James Martin officiating. Interment was in the Womer cemetery at Pedee.
