OBITUARY: JAMES EDWARD FORRY, 78, died Sept 2 at his Monmouth home. He was born March 26, 1913, Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of John and Ellen Hughes Forry. He attended Ohio State University and later worked as a radio-design engineer in Chicago.
He married Elizabeth Yoder in Bellefontaine. He and his wife lived in San Diego and Los Angeles, where he workde as an aircraft design engineer. He disigned a supersonic wind tunnel for North American Aviation. He worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Dallas from 1965 to 1976.
He was past president of the California Borzoi (Russian wolfhound) Association and a member of the Santa Monica First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife; daughter June Clark, Aloha; brother Donald Forry, Columbus, Ohio; and gandsons Roger and Patrick Clark.
Family services were at Womer Cemetery, Pedee. Bollman Funeral Home, Dallas, handled the arrangements.
