Fred Brandt, aged 66 years, died Wednesday night at the Dallas hospital. Mr Brandt was stricken three weeks ago with illness which was thought to have resulted from an old injury to his brain. He was staying at the Gail Hotel at the time but was removed to the Dallas hospital. Mr Brandt was born in Germany, and had come to the United States as a youth. He had no known relatives in this country. He came to Oregon about 25 years ago and had resided in the Pedee country most of the time since then, working on farms about that district. Mr Brandt had been living with V.J. Love at Cloverdale, assisting about the farm. He was brought to Dallas by Mr Love a short time before he became ill. The body is at the Henkle & Thomas chapel and funeral services have not been arranged.
