Vivian Christine (Burbank) Blankenbaker, Dec 17, 1926-April 7, 2018

Vivian Christine (Burbank) Blankenbaker, of Dallas, died April 7, 2018, as a result of Alzheimer’s. She was born Dec 17, 1926, in Pedee, to O.N. “Doc” and Laura (Davis) Burbank. Vivian was the first of five children raised in Pedee. She graduated from Pedee High School, and then attended Linfield College in McMinnville. She married Dallas Wayne Blankenbaker on Jan 18, 1951. He died in 1981. Vivian enjoyed reading, playing piano and spending time with her grandsons and great-grandchildren. Vivian is preceded in death by her husband; sister Helen Spinney; brothers Bob, Tom and Walter “Chicki” Burbank. Survivors include her son Stan Blankenbaker, of Dallas; daughter Penny (Dave) Lowther, of Philomath; three grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory. A private family service will be held at a later date. Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family.
