OBITUARY: 

Mary Louise Bishop, Oct 16, 1906-May 21, 2004

Mary Louise Bishop of Falls City died May 21. She was 97. She was born to Charles and Sarah Place in Marietta, Ohio. She graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, Calif, with a teaching degree. She taught elementary and middle school in Santa Cruz, Calif, and later in Tillamook. She married James William Bishop on June 14, 1938 in Santa Cruz. After James retired they moved from Laurelwood Academy, Ore, to Falls City. She enjoyed hiking, camping, and reading, and was truly dedicated to her volunteer work for the Falls City Community Food Bank. She was a member of the Falls City Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2000. Survivors include her son, Ed Bishop of Washington; daughter, Julee Bishop of Falls City; and two grandsons, Evan and AJ. Graveside services will be at 10:230 am Friday, May 28 at Womer Cemetery in Pedee. Arrangements are being handled by Dallas Mortuary Chapel.
