OBITUARY:
Mrs Jane Krohn, 54, wife of Henry D. Krohn of Pedee, died Saturday at the Dallas hospital. She had been in poor health for the past ten years, but recently sustained injuries when tipped out of a buggy. In company with Mr Krohn she was riding in the buggy to a neighbor’s house. The mule hitched to the conveyance became frightened and shied to the side of the road, running one wheel up on a bank and tipping her out. Mrs Krohn was born May 9, 1882, in England but came to the United States when a child of eight. She is survived by her husband and one daughter. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Pedee school in charge of Henkle & Bollman, with Rev John Linn of Dallas officiating. Burial was in the Womer cemetery.
