OBITUARY: 

Jimmie Dyer, Monmouth, died at a Salem hospital Monday. He was born in Salem November 25, 1891, the son of John and Olive Dyer. In September 1914, he married Gareatha Shively in Dallas. They lived in Pedee and Maupin prior to moving to the Hood River area in 1917 where they lived until 1927 when they returned to the Pedee area. 
Mr. Dyer had been in farming and logging prior to his death. Funeral services will be today, April 13 at 2 pm at the Bollman Funeral Home with Rev Harold Fowler officiarting. Burial will be in the Womer cemetery at Pedee. Survivors include his wife, Gareatha Dyer; a daughter, Helen Bennett; sons, Ralph and Donald, all of Pedee; four grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
