1900 OR CENSUS - Willis Moody, age 37, occupation day laborer, b. Jan 1863 in Maine, is enumerated with his wife of 1 year, Nettie M., age 18, no children, b. Jun 1881 in Michigan.  Also enumerated with the family is Jennie Riften, age 16, identified as a cousin, b. Dec 1883 in Oregon.
1910 OR CENSUS - Willis E. Moody, age 50, occupation farmer, b. Maine, is enumerated with his wife of 10 years (his 2nd marriage, her 1st), Nettie M., age 27, mother of 3, b. Michigan, along with Chester A., age 8, b. Oregon, Venetra M., age 5, b. Oregon, and Samuel J., age 2, b. Oregon.
[Nettie is enumerated as a widow, living with brother-in-law, Friend Riker, in the 1920 Polk Co. census record; she remarried to W.E. Hazenberg and died in 1933; see Nettie Hazenberg]

OBITUARY: 
Kings Valley – Mr. Moody, who got hurt pulling stumps, died Friday evening. He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral was held at Pedee Saturday afternoon.
