NOTE - according to descendants, the name of his mother, listed on the death certificate, is incorrect. She is identified as (on the DC) as Isabell Simcox, which was actually the name of the mother of his half-brother, Frank Hogue, who was the informant for the DC (and 20 years younger than Albert). Albert's father, Findley Hogue was married first to a Rachel [last name not known], believed to be the mother of Albert.
DISCREPANCY - his DC and most of his census records give the birthplace as Pennsylvania, but there are a couple of census records, most notably his earliest (1860 when he is 5 years old), which give Ohio as his birthplace.
