OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Hilah Hanna Tetherow, 86, passed away at a nursing home in Independence on Monday, August 25. 
Mrs. Tetherow was born November 14, 1866, at Dallas and had made her home in Monmouth for the past 25 years. Mrs Tetherow was a member of Adah chapter No 34, Order of the Eastern Star of Independence, of Agate Rebekah lodge and the Baptist church of Monmouth. She is survived by one sister, Mrs Wima Davis of Bellevue, Wash, and by three brothers, Joe Hubbard of Spokane, Lee Hubbard of Lewiston, Idaho, and Metz Hubbard of Monmouth. 
Funeral services will be held from the Smith Mortuary in Monmouth on Thursday, August 28, at 11 am Rev Roy H. Campbell of the local Baptist church will officiate.

She is a member of Adah Chapter No 34, Order of the Eastern Star of Independence, of Agate Rebekah Lodge, No 177 of Monmouth, and the Baptist church, Monmouth. She is survived by one sister, Mrs Mima Davis of Bellevue, Wash; three brothers, Joe Hubbard of Spokane, Wash, Lee Hubbard of Lewiston, Idaho, and Metz Hubbard of Monmouth. Funeral services were held from the Smith Mortuary, Monmouth Thursday, August 28, at 11 am Interment was held at the Brown cemetery, Dallas. Rev Roy H. Campbell of Monmouth Baptist church officiated.
