OBITUARY: Ada Frances Wilson, wife of Oscar Wilson, died at the family home in North Dallas Friday, June 11, after a lingering illness with cancer. She leaves a husband and five small children. Services were held at Chapman’s undertaking chapel Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev Earl Crook. Interment was in the Brown cemetery. Deceased was born in Indiana February 11, 1877. Her mother and three sisters reside at Alsea and were present at the funeral. The family has resided in Polk county thirteen years.

Mrs Oscar Wilson, who departed this life at her home in North Dallas last Friday, was buried from the undertaking parlors on Sunday. Death was caused from cancer. Deceased leaves a husband and five children to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother. She was a native of Indiana, having been born in that state in 1877, and had lived here twelve years.
