1900 KS CENSUS - George Allison, age 32, single, occupation laborer, b.  1867 in Iowa, is enumerated as "brother" in the home of James Allison, age 37, occupation laborer, b. Apr 1863 in Iowa, and his wife of 11 years, Lizzie, age 27, mother of 5 children 3 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. May 1873 in Kansas, along with their children Emma, age 6, b. Jul 1893 in Kansas, and Ira, age 2, b. Mar 1898 in Kansas. 
1920 OR CENSUS - George Allison, single, age 53, occupation saw mill laborer, b. Iowa, is enumerated as "brother" in the home of James M. Allison, age 56, occupation railroad section manager, b. Iowa, and his wife Lizzy A., age 47, b. Kansas, along with Elena, age 15, b. Kansas, Lela, age 11, b. Kansas, Elizabeth, age 7, b. Kansas, and Helen, age 5. b. Oregon.  Also enumerated with the family are James Taylor, identified as son-in-law [of James], age 27,. b. Californa, and Cecil[e], age 17, b. Kansas.

OBITUARY: 
George McClellan Allison, 63, died at his home in Dallas on Thursday, Dec 26. Funeral services were held Monday at the Henkle & Thomas chapel, with Rev J.W. Warrell officiating. Burial was in the Brown cemetery. 
Mr. Allison was born in Iowa Nov. 28, 1866. He moved to Kansas as a boy. He came to Dallas about 16 years ago and had resided here since. Mr. Allison had never married. He was employed for a number of years at the Willamette Valley Lumber Co, but ill health had forced him to give up this work some time ago. 
James Allison, a brother who formerly lived in Dallas, came here from Westwood, Calif, to attend the funeral. Three sisters who reside in Kansas are the only other immediate relatives.
