OBITUARY: George McClellan Allison, 63, died at his home in Dallas on Thursday, Dec 26. Funeral services were held Monday at the Henkle & Thomas chapel, with Rev J.W. Warrell officiating. Burial was in the Brown cemetery.
Mr. Allison was born in Iowa Nov. 28, 1866. He moved to Kansas as a boy. He came to Dallas about 16 years ago and had resided here since. Mr. Allison had never married. He was employed for a number of years at the Willamette Valley Lumber Co, but ill health had forced him to give up this work some time ago.
James Allison, a brother who formerly lived in Dallas, came here from Westwood, Calif, to attend the funeral. Three sisters who reside in Kansas are the only other immediate relatives.
