OBITUARY: 
Mary Elizabeth Remington, widow of Reuben C. Remington, passed away late Saturday afternoon, May 9. Mary Elizabeth Kimsey was born September 28, 1849, near Dallas. In early life she moved with her parents to the Kimsey homestead where she resided until death at the age of 86 years. July 11, 1866 she was wedded to Reuben C. Remington. To this union were born nine children, six of whom are still living, two boys Marion and Joseph Remington of Dallas, four daughters, Mrs. Spencer Campbell and Mrs. Fay Brown, also residing in Dallas, Mrs. Sarah Price of Hebo, and Mrs. Carl Sellers of Salem. Also surviving Mrs. Remington are 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Henkle & Bollman chapel with Rev K.E. Burke officiating. Burial was in the Brown cemetery northeast of Dallas.
