OBITUARY: Mrs Nora Wilson, 43 years old, a sister of T.J. Marks of Independence, died Saturday morning in the Deaconess hospital in Salem following a brief illness. Mrs Wilson was born in Sheridan June 5, 1884. For the past eight years she has lived on rural route three, Salem. Services were held at the Keeney funeral home Monday at 1 p.m. with Rev E.G. Ranton officiating. Interment was in the Smith cemetery near Monmouth. Susriving Mrs Wilson are her husband, Andrew; one daughter and two sons, Alta Blanche Lefley, George Williams and Vernon Lefley, Salem; two sisters, Mrs Lizzie Osborn and Mrs Emma Osborn, Monmouth, and five brothers, T.J. Marks, Independence, Chris Marks of Monmouth, Clarence S. and A.O. Marks of Canby and W.E. Marks of Dallas.
