She was born in Montana. She was a member of the Monmouth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her husband, C. Vernon; sons, Glenn, Aaron and Blane, and daughter, Carol Smith, all of Monmouth; parents, Mr and Mrs Lawrence V. Watkins, Seattle; brothers, Terry Watkins, Seattle, and Timothy Watkins, Kent, Wash; and sisters, Janet Dutton, in Wisconsin, Marcia Meneghini, Port Angeles, Wash, and Sandra Pederson, in Arizona. The casket will be open from 10 am to 7 pm today at Farnstrom mortuary, Independence. Services will be at 10 am Thursday in the Monmouth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Smith cemetery, south of here. The family suggests contributions to the church missionary fund.
