OBITUARY:
Monmouth – Kenneth Howard Lenhard, 75, of Monmouth died Thursday. He was born in Strang, Neb. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a communications technician for the telephone company in Santa Cruz, Calif, until his retirement in 1872. He moved to Monmouth in 1972. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sister, Hazel Franklin, Colorado. At his request no services will be held. Contributions may be made to the Monmouth First Baptist Church. Farnstrom mortuary, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
