NOTES: Cemetery records list this burial as a "Child of P. Clodfelter" The parents were probably Purl Henry Clodfelter & Nannie D. Monford who were married 10 May 1893 in Lucas Co, Iowa (Iowa Marriage Records, FamilySearch). Purl was son of Francis M. & Sarah E. (Brown) Clodfelter who are buried in Dallas Cemetery. Purl and Nannie lived briefly near Monmouth in 1890s and then returned to the midwest. At the 1900 census they were living in Dallas, Harrison Co, Missouri, the census shows them being the parents of 2 children, both deceased. They later moved to Emporia, Lyon Co, Kansas, where they were living in 1930 when Francis Clodfelter died (obit Capital Journal 21 Apr 1930).
