NOTE - husband Charles was born ca 1856 in Oregon, son of James A. & Melvina (Pyburn) Graves who are buried in Salem Pioneer cemetery. He appears with his parents in 1870 census of Corvallis, Benton Co, Ore, and 1880 census of Independence, Polk Co, Ore. He settled near Prineville in Crook Co, Ore, where he appears in 1900 census with a new wife, and in 1910 census living alone, twice married and divorced. He probably died before Oct 1918 when he was not listed in his father's obituary (Oregonian 14 Oct 1918, pg 12)

Mrs Lena Graves, aged 78, passed away Wednesday night at the home of her nephew W.P. Lewis of West Salem. The body was brought to Dallas by Henkle & Thomas and funeral arrangements are pending. Mrs Graves had been in her usual health but was stricken with a heart attack shortly after retiring and was dead before Mr Lewis reached her room after she called him. Mrs Graves was a member of the pioneer Lewis family which settled in the Lewisville community in 1845. A son, Owen C. Graves, resides in St Louis, Mo. Mrs T.B. Hooker of Dallas is a niece.
