OBITUARY:
Sam Daivs Dies in Salem.
Mrs. Al Cherry has received a message telling of the death of Sam A. Davis in Salem May 11. He was formerly of Dallas and had been a resident of Polk county for about 70 years. He would have reached the age of 93 had he lived until July 7. Mr. Davis was taken to Salem for care during the past winter.
