OBITUARY: Funeral of G.W. Clarke
The body of G. W. Clarke of Portland arrived here Sunday evening and was taken to the Smith cemetery near Lewisville for interment.
Mr. Clarke died January 21, death resulting from tuberculosis. He was a native of Illinois, 45 years of age, and leaves a number of brothers and sisters among other relatives to mourn his decease.
The funeral service was conducted at the home of his sisters, Mrs. George L. Sullivan, Monday, at 10 am by Rev. W.A. Wood.

Mrs. Rhetta Hamer of Salem came over Sunday to attend the funeral of her brother G. W. Clarke, and remained wth her sister Mrs. G. L. Sullivan for the week. She will return home Saturday.
