OBITUARY: 
Mrs John Yeater, 63, died shortly after midnight Wednesday night at her home on the Luckiamute. Mrs Yeater had been in poor health for the past year, but her death resulted from pneumonia and she had been critically ill only the day before her death. Funeral services will be held at the Henkle & Thomas chapel at 1:30 Saturday, but other arrangements for the funeral had not been made. Mrs Yeater (Rachel Sherwood) was born in July 1868. She had spent most of her life in the community where she died. She was married to Mr Yeater in December 1901 [sic, 1899].
