OBITUARY: 
Mrs Mary E. Leveck, aged 68, dropped dead in the yard of her home near Lewisville on Tuesday, september 10, from a heart attack. Her death was just three months after that of her husband, J.J. Leveck, who also died of a heart attack. Mrs Leveck, familiarly known as “Aunt Marie” to most of her young friends, was born at Lewisville, April 15, 1867. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs B.F. Smith, early poioneers of that community and her life had been spent on the home place. She was married to Mr Leveck on December 14, 102. One son was born to them who died in infancy. Mrs Leveck became a member of the Evangelical church in young womanhood and remained a faithful, consistent Christian until her death. Mrs Leveck is survived by one uncle, F.M. Smith of Dallas, and a sister-in-law, Mrs Bonnie Smith of Lewisville. There are four nieces, Mrs Cecil Embree of Lewisville, Mrs J.E. weaver of Portland, Mrs L.S. Prather of Buena Vista and Miss Lilli Smith of Lewisville; three nephews, Orval Embree of Lewisville, Billky Gene and Elmo Prather of Buena Vista, also four great nieces, Mrs G.J. Hiebenthal of Dallas, Laura and Nada Embree of Lewisville and Alice Prather of Buena Vista. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, September 13, at the Lewisville churdch from which her husband was buried just three months ago. The church is losing one of its oldest and most faithful members. The funeral will be under the direction of the Keeney Funeral Home of Independence. Rev E.A. Fogg, her pastor, will officiate at the service and burial will be at the Smith cemetery. Mrs Ethel Osborn and Miss Dorothea Boyer will sing with Miss Mattie Swann at the organ. The pall bearers will be R.F. Dodge, Claude Hoisington, Ivan Williams, Ernest Hoisington, L.N. Lindeman and Percy Lewis. Mrs Edith Hoisington has charge of the church directions and flowers.
