Cherry (b. Norfaulk [sic], Virginia), maiden name of mother Margaret E. Smith (b. Montgomery Co., Missouri), interment 29 Aug, undertaker R. L. Chapman, informant A. F. Cherry of Dallas.

OBITUARY:
James G. Cherry died at his home in Dallas on Saturday, August 26, being 65 years, 5 months and 15 days of age at the time of his death. He was a native of Oregon, having been born at Lewisville on March 11, 1857. He had been a resident of Dallas but a short time, coming here to live from his farm home. Funeral services were conducted at Chapman’s chapel Tuesday, Rev C.F. Trimble of Dallas and Rev Chrtis of Vancouver, officiating. Interment was made at Lewisville.
