1880 OR CENSUS - Green B. Riggs, age 44, occupation farmer, b. Missouri, is enumerated with Tallitha Riggs, age 43, b. Kentucky, is enumerated with along with Marion, age 18, farm laborer, b. Washington Territory, Arthur, age 9, b. Oregon, and [unnamed], male, age 11 m's, b. May [1879] in Oregon.

BRIDGEPORT -- Greenberry Riggs came up from Vancouver to attend the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Mary Anderson. lase Sunday, she having died suddenly on Friday.  She was a pioneer and many friends attended the funeral.  They laid her to rest in the family grave yard nearby.

OBITUARY: 
GREEN BERRY RIGGS
Green Berry Riggs, who died at his home at Meadowview, near Junction City, August 5, was an early pioneer of Oregon.  Funeral Services were held at Dallas, Oregon, and interment followed in the Riggs cemetery near Bridgeport.
Mr. Riggs was born in Davis county, Missouri, July 27, 1836.  He came to Oregon with his parents ten years later.  They located first on French prairie and then went to Polk county in 1850, settling near Bridgeport.  He married Sarah Hart October 20, 1858, and, following her death, was married a second time to Talitha C. O'Neal on May 21, 1876.  He is survived by his children, Marion Riggs and Morris Riggs.
