OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Thacker died at Cheney, Washington, October 15, 1913, at 3:30 pm, aged 52 years. none months and 19 days.
Lillian May Brown was born December 26, 1860 on the old home place on Salt Creek. She was married to Reuben Thacker October 28, 1884.  There were born to the union seven children, five girls and two boys, who with the husband survive her.  The deceased leaves five brothers and tow sisters, one sister and one brother having preceeded her to the other world.
Funeral services were held from the Chapman parlors at 11:00 o'clock Saturday and interment was made at the Brown (private) cemetery, four miles from town.
Deceased was for many years a member of the Christian Church.
