OBITUARY: 
Fredrick ‘Fritz’ Cox, Feb. 25, 1913-April 25, 2001 
DALLAS – Fredrick Cox, 88, died Wednesday. 
Born in Magnet, Neb, he moved to Oregon in the early 1930s working in a sawmill. He was a logger for 42 years retiring from King Brothers Logging Co. He belonged to the Elks and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canning and woodworking. He married Lorraine (Case) in 1936; she died in January. 
Survivors include his daughters, Charlene Breyman of Salem and Rita Doerfler of Silverton; sons, Richard of Hubbard and Robert of Drain; sisters, Irma Bosvert of Dallas and Beryl Yarnes of Seattle; brother, Ralph of Salem; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visiting will be 10 am to 8 pm Monday at Dallas Mortuary. Services will be 1 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Interment will be at English Cemetery in Monmouth. Contributions: Union Gospel Mission, care of the mortuary.
