OBITUARY: 

ALBANY – Erle B. Brown, 79, 1009 W 16th St, died Monday at a local hospital. 
He was born in Parker and was a logger and farmer in the Beavercreek area and near Airlie until 1946 when he became a custodian of Oregon State University. He retired in 1958. Survivors include the widow Olive; sons Norman L., Happ Camp, Calif, Wendell E., Salem, Van Merlen, Gig Harbor, Wash; daughter Mrs Ann Marlene Payne, Lewiston, Mont; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 am Thursday at Aasum mortuary with Pastor Wayne Bryant officiating. Interment will be in the English cemetery near Monmouth.
